Tension wheels for tracks. The width of the inner guide flange is 23mm complete with a shaft.
Tension wheels ITR for mini excavators and compact loaders provide optimal track tension by using the latest design and manufacturing technologies.
Our Tension wheels are made from selected high-quality steel alloys and are properly heat-treated to ensure exceptional field performance in extreme working conditions. We assemble them using state-of-the-art seals and bearing designs that meet the most stringent industry specifications. Our Tension wheels are assembled on production lines with an automatic oil filling process, ensuring their reliability and durability.
They are available in various configurations, including:
Our Tension wheels are designed to meet all working requirements in harsh conditions, ensuring reliability and long lifespan.
Our range includes a wide selection of tension wheels, from mini excavators to mining machines, ensuring high quality and performance. Starting from KUBOTA® K008 (with an operating weight of 0.9 tons) to KOMATSU® D475 A5 (with an operating weight of 101 tons), we offer comprehensive solutions. Our engineering and R&D departments in Italy, South Korea, and China work together to combine know-how, technology, and development capabilities. Local engineering departments in each production facility possess specialized knowledge about the components produced, and the central Italian Engineering coordinates all activities.
The function of the tension wheel is to properly tension and guide the track chain, ensuring its proper winding. The tension wheel and tensioner work together to maintain a specified degree of track tension. Efficient chain tension is a key factor affecting undercarriage durability. The optimal deflection for conventional tracks is about 50mm (+-5mm). For example, a track in an 80-horsepower machine with a deflection of 12mm will have a tension of 2540 kg when measured in the track tensioner. Meanwhile, the same machine, with the suggested deflection of 50mm, will have a tension value of 362 kg. An overly tightened track increases pressure, leading to greater wear of track bushings and sprocket teeth, as well as contact of the chain with the tension wheel and rollers. Appropriate tread hardness, equal to or greater than that of the chain links and support and carrying rollers, ensures impact resistance and balanced durability. Material: SCMn3A, hardening 50-55 HRC. Constant lubrication minimizes maintenance throughout the service life.
