ITR Tensioning Wheel for HINOWA HP1500
They are made from selected high-quality steel alloys and are appropriately heat-treated to ensure exceptional field performance in extreme working conditions. Idler wheels ITR are assembled using state-of-the-art seals and bearing designs, produced according to the industry's most stringent specifications. Assembly is done on assembly lines with an automatic oil filling process. Idler wheels can be chosen in different configurations:

Functionality of ITR Tensioning Wheels
The function of the tensioning wheel is to support the track chain and guide it so it is properly wound. Additionally, the tensioning wheel and tensioner work together to maintain a specific degree of track tension. The most important controllable factor in undercarriage wear is the correct track tension. The correct sag for all conventional tracks is about 50mm (+-5mm). For example, a track on an 80-horsepower machine with a sag of 12mm will have a tension value of 2540 kg when measured at the track tensioner. The same machine with the suggested sag of 50 mm will have a tension value of 362 kg. An overly tightened track increases pressure, which causes more wear on the track bushings when in contact with the sprocket teeth and in the chain-tensioning wheel-roller contact. Tread hardness equal to or greater than that of the chain links, drive and support rollers ensures impact resistance and balanced durability. Material type: SCMn3A, hardening 50-55 HRC. Lifetime lubrication to minimize maintenance.
