Our Tension Wheels provide solidity and performance even in the toughest conditions, enabling stable operation of your machine.
Our store offers a wide selection of high-quality tension wheels, perfect for both mini excavators and mining machines. In our range, you'll find everything from KUBOTA® K008 (with an operating weight of 0.9 tons) to KOMATSU® D475 A5 (with an operating weight of 101 tons). We operate in Italy, South Korea, and China, where our engineering departments continuously improve production technology. With local engineering branches in each production facility, our tension wheels are tailored to the specifics of the local market. The entire process is coordinated by the headquarters of Italian Engineering, ensuring the highest quality and operational efficiency.
Tension Wheels are a key component in maintaining proper tension and guiding of the track chain, which translates to its appropriate wrapping. They work with the tensioner to maintain optimal tension, which is crucial for the undercarriage's durability. Correct tension setting, e.g., 50 mm (+-5mm) for conventional tracks, significantly impacts the machine's wear and performance. For example, an overly tight chain can lead to greater wear on track bushings and drive wheel teeth. The appropriate hardness of the tread, equal to or greater than the track links and the running and supporting rollers, ensures damage resistance and increases durability. Material: SCMn3A, hardening 50-55 HRC. Constant lubrication contributes to minimizing maintenance during operation.
