Our Tensioning Wheels provide robustness and efficiency even in the most challenging conditions, enabling stable operation of your machine.
Our store offers a wide selection of high-quality tensioning wheels, excellent for both mini excavators and mining machines. Our range includes everything from KUBOTA® K008 (with an operating weight of 0.9 tons) up to KOMATSU® D475 A5 (with an operating weight of 101 tons). We operate in Italy, South Korea, and China, where our engineering departments continuously improve production technology. Thanks to local engineering divisions at each production facility, our tensioning wheels are tailored to the specifics of the local market. Everything is coordinated by the headquarters of Italian Engineering, ensuring the highest quality and operational efficiency.
Tensioning wheels are a key component in maintaining proper tension and guidance of the track chain, which translates to its proper winding. They cooperate with the tensioner to maintain optimal tension, which is crucial for the longevity of the undercarriage. Correct tension setting, e.g., 50 mm (+-5mm) for conventional tracks, has a significant impact on the machine's wear and performance. For example, an overly tight chain may lead to increased wear of the track bushings and drive wheel teeth. Appropriate tread hardness, equal to or greater than that of the chain links and carrier rollers, ensures resistance to damage and increases longevity. Material: SCMn3A, hardening 50-55 HRC. Constant lubrication contributes to minimizing maintenance during operation.
