ITR undercarriage components are developed, designed, and engineered by USCO's engineering and R&D departments, using the latest CAD systems and in collaboration with partner universities. The ITR undercarriage product line is entirely self-managed. Starting from the purchase of raw materials, through component design, mechanical processing of components, heat treatment, throughout the entire assembly process up to final inspection. Numerous quality controls are carried out starting from the purchase of raw materials. The controls are based on knowledge and experience in the fields of metallurgical processes and materials engineering.
Functions of the upper support rollers: They support the track between the sprocket and the tensioning wheel. The durability of the roller tread is matched to the durability of the track chain links. Support rollers have induction-hardened shells to increase surface hardness, wear resistance, and fatigue strength while maintaining core properties. Values in the range of 50 – 58 HRC. Shafts and bearings are designed to reduce friction and wear and provide maximum strength. Lubricated for life to minimize maintenance.
Bronze plain bearing. The design provides a large surface area for better load distribution. The soft bronze coating in the bearing protects against any fine contaminants that could damage the shaft and seals. The Duo-Cone seal consists of two metal sealing rings and two rubber ones. The rubber rings provide the appropriate pressure on both sides of the metal sealing rings. Resistant to permanent deformation and temperature changes from -40°C to 110°C. Duo-Cone seals are designed to withstand several tread lifespans, depending on individual conditions.
