ITR undercarriage components are developed, designed, and constructed by the USCO engineering and R&D departments, utilizing the latest CAD systems and in collaboration with partner universities. The ITR undercarriage product line is fully managed in-house, from raw material procurement, element design, through mechanical processing, heat treatment, the entire assembly process, to final inspection. Numerous quality controls are carried out starting from the raw material purchase. The controls are based on knowledge and experience in metallurgical processes and material engineering.
Functions of the upper support rollers: They support the track between the sprocket and the tensioning wheel. The durability of the roller tread is matched to the durability of the track chain links. Support rollers have induction-hardened shells to increase surface hardness, wear resistance, and fatigue strength while maintaining core properties. Values range from 50 to 58 HRC. Shafts and bearings are designed to reduce friction and wear and provide maximum strength. Lubricated for the entire life to minimize maintenance.
Bronze sleeve bearing. The design provides a large surface area for better load distribution. The soft bronze coating in the bearing protects against any small contaminants that might damage the shaft and seals. The Duo-Cone seal consists of two metal sealing rings and two rubber ones. The rubber rings provide proper pressure on both sides of the metal sealing rings. Resistant to permanent deformation and temperature changes from -40°C to 110°C. Duo-Cone seals are designed to withstand several tread lifetimes, depending on individual conditions.
