ITR undercarriage components are developed, designed, and engineered by USCO's engineering and R&D departments using the latest CAD systems and in cooperation with partner universities. The ITR undercarriage product line is entirely self-managed. Starting from raw material procurement, through component design, mechanical processing, heat treatment, through the entire assembly process to final inspection inclusively. Numerous quality controls are conducted from the purchase of raw material. The controls are based on knowledge and experience in the field of metallurgical processes and materials engineering.
Functions of the upper support rollers: They support the track between the sprocket and the tension wheel. Roller tread durability is matched to the durability of the track chain links. Support rollers have induction-hardened shells to increase surface hardness, wear resistance, and fatigue strength while maintaining core properties. Values range from 50 to 58 HRC. Shafts and bearings are designed to reduce friction and wear and provide maximum strength. Lubricated for life to minimize maintenance.
Bronzed plain bearing. The design provides a large surface area for better load distribution. The soft bronze coating in the bearing protects against any small contaminants that may damage the shaft and seals. The Duo-Cone seal consists of two metal sealing rings and two rubber ones. The rubber rings provide appropriate pressure on both sides of the metal sealing rings. Resistant to permanent deformation and temperature changes from -40°C to 110°C. Duo-Cone seals are designed to withstand several lifespans of the tread, depending on individual conditions.
