ITR undercarriage components are developed, designed, and constructed by USCO's engineering and R&D departments using the latest CAD systems and in collaboration with partner universities. The ITR undercarriage product line is entirely self-managed. Starting from raw material procurement, through component design, through mechanical processing of components, heat treatment, throughout the assembly process to final inspection. Numerous quality controls are conducted starting from the purchase of raw materials. The controls are based on expertise and experience in metallurgical processes and materials engineering.
Functions of upper support rollers: They support the track between the sprocket and the tension wheel. The roller tread durability is matched to the durability of the track chain links. Support rollers have induction-hardened shells to increase surface hardness, wear resistance, and fatigue strength while maintaining core properties. Values in the range of 50 – 58 HRC. Shafts and bearings are designed to reduce friction and wear and ensure maximum strength. Lubricated for lifetime to minimize maintenance.
Bronze slide bearing. The design provides a large surface area for better load distribution. The soft bronze coating in the bearing protects against any minor contaminants that could damage the shaft and seals. The Duo-Cone seal consists of two metal sealing rings and two rubber rings. The rubber rings provide the proper pressure on both sides of the metal sealing rings. Resistant to permanent deformation and temperature changes from -40°C to 110°C. Duo-Cone seals are designed to outlast several tread lifetimes, depending on individual conditions.
