ITR undercarriage components are developed, designed, and engineered by USCO's engineering and R&D departments, using the latest CAD systems and in collaboration with partner universities. The ITR undercarriage product line is fully managed in-house. Starting from raw material procurement, through the design of elements, mechanical processing of elements, heat treatment, through the entire assembly process up to final inspection. Numerous quality controls are conducted starting from raw material procurement. Controls are based on knowledge and experience in the field of metallurgical processes and materials engineering.
Functions of upper support rollers: They support the track, between the sprocket and the tension wheel. The durability of the roller tread is matched to the durability of the track chain links. Support rollers have induction-hardened shells for increased surface hardness, wear resistance, and fatigue strength while maintaining core properties. Values range from 50 to 58 HRC. Shafts and bearings are designed to reduce friction and wear and provide maximum strength. Lubricated for life to minimize maintenance.
Bronze plain bearing. The design provides a large area for better load distribution. The soft bronze coating in the bearing protects against any fine contaminants that can damage the shaft and seals. The Duo-Cone seal consists of two metal sealing rings and two rubber ones. The rubber rings provide the correct pressure on both sides of the metal sealing rings. Resistant to permanent deformations and temperature changes from -40°C to 110°C. Duo-Cone seals are designed to withstand several tread life spans, depending on individual conditions.
