ITR undercarriage components are developed, designed, and constructed by USCO's engineering and R&D departments, using the latest CAD systems and in collaboration with partner universities. The ITR undercarriage product line is entirely self-managed. Starting from the purchase of raw materials, through the design of components, mechanical processing of elements, heat treatment, throughout the assembly process until the final inspection is included. Numerous quality checks are carried out starting from the purchase of raw material. The checks are based on knowledge and experience in metallurgical processes and materials engineering.
Functions of upper support rollers: They support the track between the sprocket and the tension wheel. The tread durability of the roller is matched to the durability of the track chain links. Support rollers have induction-hardened shells for increased surface hardness, wear resistance, and fatigue strength while maintaining core properties. Values in the range of 50 – 58 HRC. Shafts and bearings are designed to reduce friction and wear and provide maximum strength. Lubricated for lifetime to minimize maintenance.
Bronzed plain bearing. The design provides a large surface area for better load distribution. The soft bronze coating in the bearing protects against any small contaminants that may damage the shaft and seals. The Duo-Cone seal consists of two metal sealing rings and two rubber ones. Rubber rings provide appropriate pressure on both sides of the metal sealing rings. Resistant to permanent deformation and temperature changes from -40°C to 110°C. Duo-Cone seals are designed to withstand several tread lifespans, depending on individual conditions.
